Where required, we also employ the use of mobile GPS trackers using global positioning systems which can be placed in most vehicles.

Elite Pursuit’s  Founder/CEO, L.C. Jones has an extensive background related to  law enforcement investigations, advanced tactical instruction, security consulting, and high level corporate  investigations.

He has been the lead investigator in many high profile criminal investigations in the Tampa Bay area. Jones leads a team of investigators, including former police officers and military specialists. We also have bilingual investigators to help minimize any communication barriers that exist.

Jones started his law enforcement career in Newport News, Va. at the age of twenty. While there he served as a patrol officer and a narcotics detective.  After spending several years with the Newport News Police Dept., he relocated to the Tampa Bay area where he joined the Pinellas Park Police Dept. as a patrol officer. He was later promoted as a detective assigned to the Narcotics Unit. He served as a senior SWAT/Chemical Munitions member, and also accepted the role as trainer where he brought consistent quality and instruction to the department’s training program.

Over the years his constant leadership has allowed him to obtained several accolades and awards. Just to name a few, he has received the Chief’s Accommodation Award in 2005, nomination for Police Officer of the Year in both 2004/2005, and the Merit Service Award in 2005.

After retiring from law enforcement, he entered the business arena by accepting the role of Corporate Security Manager for a major trucking company in central Florida. While serving in this position he was instrumental in establishing the majority of the security practices currently in place. Jones has always and successfully maintained a passion for excellence, quality, and integrity that has followed him throughout his entire law enforcement and corporate career.

He has made sure that those same qualities continue to be the driving initiatives behind Elite Pursuit Investigations, and in his everyday activities, guaranteeing that his clients and associates have the peace of mind that they deserve.
